here today, gone tomorrow

We exist on this earth, and experience life with a certain constraint of time. We do not have a potentially unlimited time to live, neither do we know just how long we may live for. The older we grow, the more we learn, and understand. The people we become, and the people we meet, all have an effect on our lives. We see ourselves at the top of the food chain on this earth, and we take for granted the lives of people around us.

We get to know famous people about the things they do and we even record the important information from their lives. We live in a digital age, where we have learnt to record and store almost everything from words, voices, videos, pictures and even to a point actual 3-d renditions of items. We create supercomputers and digital storage farms to compute and store data, after which it is fed back to us in a neat, easy to understand format.

We are attracted to things by their colors, smell, tastes and feel. We are a species that in our understanding is superior to any of which exist on this earth and we claim it as ours. There are so many people alive on our earth now, that we can barely count the amount of people dying and being born into this world by the second.

The way we are brought up, we do not necessarily know o fall the different type of people that exist or the condition by which they have grown up, but we do have access to this information. We have access to so much information, that it would be impossible to live a normal life and at the same time cover this information effectively. What we do though is choose the type of information we want to cover, and study it. Like in school and the subjects we study, the sports we play, the types of stories we read, etc.

What I'm getting at today is that, we all have a finite time to live, and even though we know this, we do not know when our time will be up. So we might do well as to consider what we should actually be spending our time on. We do not appreciate how precious time is with relevance to our lives and how we use it. Wasting time and carrying out meaningless activities have no value. I feel that before you do something, you should think about the value that it can add to your life and the type of person it would make you.

I also feel that the most basic of things in life we should strive for, is a healthy body and a healthy mind, though accomplishing this requires a lot of dedication and resistance from a person, the attempt is just as important.

We all are here today, and not sure if we would be tomorrow. Lets make use of our time wisely. The person it should really matter to is yourself, since being on the same planet with 7 billion other people, what we do may not be anything to the other people. Lets make a difference and start with ourselves. Do what we feel is most important and useful in our lives!
